Technology is the process by which humans modify nature to meet their needs and wants. This is according to the article "What is Technology". It affects us all in our everyday lives. Some technologies affect us more than others. The technologies that affect me the most are obviously computer technology. I use my computer and video game systems on a almost hourly basis. I also use soap, clothing, ceramic plates, and the all important door knob.
Technology has made my life easier. It has made all of our lives easier. Technology continues to improve and bring us new opportunities. These opportunities allow use to do more amazing things, learn more about the previously undiscovered, and go where no man has gone before.
It seems to me most people these days think of technology only has part of the manufacturing process or electronics. When its everything around us. It anything adn everything we humans have taken from taken from nature and modified or processed to get what we want out of it. for example wood carving is a technology.
In conclusion technology is w00t. It is everything around us amd affects all heavily on a day to day basis.

I never thought of some of the examples you had thought of. But after thinking about it, I agree that they are, each one of them was made by technology. I also agree that technology is everywhere, and in everything. It affects us for who we are today. Good Blog!
Eric you brought up some good points about woodcarving and other examples, nobody thinks of those as technolgy. I also spend a lot of time on the computer and palying video games so it has a good affect on me.
I like how you thought about examples other than computers etc. It made me realize how almost everything has came from technology.
Eric very nice blog. I believe we all have so many of the same thing in common when it comes to technology. The computer is a big part of what we all have in common and what we all rely upon for many tasks.
I really liked your blog, it was amusing. But I definitly agree how you explain that technology has a big affect on all of our lives. I know that I use the internet about 2 hours a day and it has became routine for me. I understand what you mean when you said, "most people these days think of technology only has part of the manufacturing process or electronics." Because in the 1800 people probably thought a hairbrush was a new technology, even though it didn't include batteries or a wall charger. That is really interesting to me how technology changes throughout the generations.
